The Rif Development Foundation was born from a deep love for this land and its people. Our mission is simple but powerful: to preserve our heritage, empower our communities, and build a brighter future together.
Why the Rif
The Rif is a region of mountains, Amazigh tradition and a proud history of resilience. It is also a place where villages can be hours away from a doctor, where schools lack books and desks, and where winters are hard on vulnerable families.
Rather than short-term fixes, we work hand-in-hand with local communities to build strong foundations: self-reliance, dignity, and sustainable development.

Fundraising
In the Rif, some villages are hours away from the nearest doctor. Mobile medical points will bring check-ups, medicines, vaccines and maternal help right to their doorsteps.
Fundraising & land acquisition
The Rif War is a chapter of courage and resilience that must never be forgotten. We aim to build a place of learning, remembrance, and cultural pride in the heart of the Rif.
Fundraising — annual
Thousands of children in the Rif start school without the basics: no backpack, no notebooks, no pens. For €15, one child gets everything they need to learn.
