Project Overview
Across the Rif, old forts, bunkers, mosques, shrines, and historic buildings stand as silent witnesses to the region’s rich history. Many of these heritage sites are in disrepair due to neglect, weather damage, or lack of funding. Without urgent action, they risk being lost forever.
The Rif Development Foundation will launch a heritage restoration program to repair and preserve these monuments. By combining expert craftsmanship with local community involvement, we will safeguard the Rif’s cultural legacy and open these sites for educational and tourism purposes.

To restore and protect the Rif’s historic monuments, ensuring they remain a source of pride, education, and economic opportunity for future generations.
